Warranty
What are the warranty conditions?
All Luna Cookware products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. However, it can happen that an article contains a manufacturing defect. We therefore offer a warranty against manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase of your product.
All items from Luna Cookware are covered by a legal warranty that is not affected by this warranty. The legal warranty is never linked to a specific term. After all, some products last longer than others. The legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what you as a consumer can reasonably expect from it.
The scope of the warranty on Luna Cookware products is as follows:
- The warranty period of Luna Cookware products is 30 years.
- The Luna Cookware warranty covers manufacturing and material defects such as broken welds or handles.
- The warranty does not cover the consequences of normal wear and tear, overheating or other misuse such as:
- Improper use of the product
- Normal wear and tear of the product
- Non-compliance with the maintenance instructions
- Product discoloration due to cleaning in the dishwasher
- Product damage due to drops or impact
- Product damage due to transport
- Improper product storage
- Loose bottoms, perforations of the walls and damage caused by the use of corrosive/aggressive products
- Here are some concrete examples of cases that are not covered by warranty
- Cleaning or boiling the products with saltwater, bleach or acidic substances.
- Misuse of products (such as opening cans with the knife) and deformations caused by user errors.
- Deformations caused by not following the product’s instruction for use
- Luna Cookware products are dishwasher safe. However, dishwashing products are becoming more and more aggressive and can damage parts of the cookware. Furthermore, washing the products in the dishwasher in cycles other than the “sensitive cycle” and/or scrubbing with abrasives can be harmful. Wear and discoloration due to cleaning in the dishwasher are not covered by warranty. We strongly recommend hand washing our products or used the “sensitive cycle” in the dishwasher. This will significantly extend the life of the product and prevent discoloration.
- Products coming into direct contact with fire, which can lead to deformation or burning due to overheating on a stove or open fire (eg BBQ, charcoal grill).
- Local burns or deformation due to use on an induction zone that is too small, or due to incorrect placement of the product on the induction hob. Read the manual for your hob for information about the inductors and/or cooking zones.
- Scratches that occur during use and storage conditions.
- Heavy mechanical pressure causing welding points to tear off, for example by using the pan as a meat hammer.
- Discolouration, the formation of limescale or other deposits and scratches on the inside or outside of the stainless steel (during use and storage conditions) are not considered a manufacturing defect.
- Repairs are not covered by the Luna Cookware warranty.
- Spare parts such as rubber sealing rings, spare parts, etc. are not covered by the warranty, but can be replaced as long as stocks last. However, this service is not free.
- Repairs are not covered by the Luna Cookware warranty.
- Valid proofs are: copy invoice and copy order form.
- If you no longer have proof of purchase and your cooking appliances can be repaired, the repair costs are no longer covered by the Luna Cookware warranty.
